A Bay Area mentorship and leadership community keeping girls in water polo…and helping them thrive.

The problem we're here to solve

Girls drop out of sports at 2× the rate of boys, and it starts around age 14.

The reasons aren’t surprising: self-doubt, social pressure, a lack of female role models, and not enough community to make staying feel worth it. For girls in water polo, those pressures are real — and they show up right when the game starts to get serious.

She’s Got Game exists to change that. We connect Bay Area girls ages 10–18 with accomplished women who've been in the pool, faced the same doubts, and kept going — so the next generation can too.

What we do

How we build confidence & community

  • Quarterly Speaker Summits: Four times a year, we bring together elite women's water polo players and accomplished professionals to share real, unfiltered stories of struggle, growth, and triumph. Not lectures — real conversations.

  • Small-Group Mentorship: Girls are paired with Olympians, NCAA athletes, and professional women for monthly check-ins throughout the season. Consistent support, real accountability, genuine connection.

  • Leadership & Mindset Workshops: Each quarter has a theme: Confidence & Mindset, Teamwork & Leadership, Resilience & Grit, Goal Setting & Growth. Hands-on sessions designed to build the mental game alongside the athletic one.

  • Cross-Club Connection: She's Got Game is a neutral space — no club colors, no rivalries. We bring girls together from across the Bay Area to build friendships and community that transcend the competition.

Who we are

Founded by players, for players

She's Got Game was created by two Bay Area water polo players who believe the sport has the power to change girls' lives if we build the right community around it.

Chloe Hagopian

Founder & President, Lamorinda Water Polo

Chloe started She's Got Game because she saw first-hand how quickly girls lose confidence as the sport gets more competitive, and how much a single strong female role model can change that. She built this from the ground up.

Maddie Wright

Co-Founder & Vice President, Stanford Water Polo

Maddie brings the vision and the drive to make this real across the Bay Area. She believes that when girls see what's possible, on the water and off, they play differently.

She's Got Game is student-athlete led and run. The leadership board is made up of players who are living this experience right now.

Who’s with us

We’re just getting started — but we’re not starting alone

She’s Got Game has already connected with some of the most respected names in women's water polo and beyond.

  • Founding advisors Jessica Laurence & Mimi Harris — providing strategic guidance and organizational leadership as we build.

  • Olympians & elite athletes We’ve had early conversations with US Women's National Team legends who believe in what we’re building. (Speaker lineup announced Summer 2026.)

  • Coaches & professionals Experienced Bay Area coaches and accomplished professionals are shaping our program from day one.
